Magic Carpet

On Sunday GG and Granddaddy brought over a rug for the den. I think it is a magical rug because since then Julia has done all kinds of new things.

1) She's rolling over in her crib now and takes most all naps on her tummy. She still sleeps on her back during the night - at least for now. Maybe the extra tummy time will allow the hair on the back of her head to grow in : )


2) She's rolling all over the place. No pictures of this, but she can pretty much cross the 9 foot rug by turning over and inching her way.

3) She's sitting up. She's not 100% balanced yet so I keep the "husband" pillow behind her just in case, but she is spending more and more time upright.



4) I feel a tooth coming through! There's definitely a sharp ridge poking out of her bottom gums. It doesn't seem to be bothering her yet and I'm hoping that the powers of the magical rug include painless teething!
