trip to texas

julia went to sugar land, tx last weekend to visit mimi and papa and all her family and friends there. it felt like we were taking a ton of stuff!

julia did great on the plane rides. she was very curious and did not take any naps during the 2 1/2 hour flights. she didn't cry either and let out quite a few delighted squeals. most of the passengers and flight attendants thought she was adorable.

we had a great time celebrating cousin trey's 3rd birthday on saturday at aunt kim and uncle kent's house. julia also got to meet some of her great aunts and uncles and many cousins.



saturday night we went to miss sally's 50th birthday party. julia had a wonderful time bellying up to the bar and doing some karaoke. i don't know where she gets this : )


julia didn't know a stranger all weekend and let everyone hold her and was even so comfortable that she fell asleep on more than one person's shoulder. so sweet!

we were very sad to say good bye to mimi and papa on sunday but can't wait to visit again soon!
