How lucky are we?

We are constantly amazed and humbled by our sweet girl. Julia is so laid back and happy. She rarely fusses. She loves everyone and gives away sweet baby kisses.

She says a few words (none of which are "mama" you'll notice!)... "dada", "baby", "dog", "bailey", "papa", "balloon", "hi", "gg", "meow", "socks".

She loves cats and dogs. She puts things away when you tell her. She loves music and dances by swaying back and forth or picking up her feet. She waves "hi" and "bye." She's a thumb sucker (the right one is the best). She's flipping through the pages of books now rather than eating them. When she sneezes, she follows it up with a long lip buzz- very dramatic.

Julia still takes two naps a day. She ate a full Thanksgiving dinner and no longer eats baby food. She drinks her milk from a cup, although we're working to increase her intake. Until last night she was nursing morning and night, but we'll take her cue and drop the night time feeding now. After she takes a sip, she says "ahh." She also says "ahh" when anyone else takes a sip. She is still holding on when she walks, so we'll see when she finally decides to let go and have free run of things!

It's been such an amazing year. We feel so lucky every day and thank God for our beautiful baby.
