Happy 11 month birthday!

What an amazing 11 months! Julia is doing great.


This month she started babbling like crazy. Her first word was "buh-buh" - balloon. She also says "dada", "papa", "gigi" and "baba". She "meows" at the picture of the kitty cat. And we swear she says "get it" and "kick it." And speaking of kicking, she can kick the ball on purpose. She isn't walking yet, but cruising along great and starting to stand with no hands.

She has also started eating cheerios, avocado and diced peaches. We're slowly easing in to solid food. Julia is ready - Mom just needs to get more courage! She nurses morning and night and takes 2 bottles during the day.

She loves music. Her favorite songs are "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Pat-a-cake." She loves books - but still mostly wants to eat them. Although she is getting good at flipping the pages. She mimics noises we make - laughs, coughs, sounds in general. She's very happy - claps her hands a lot and is full of smiles and giggles. Such a joy!
