Happy 9 month birthday!
As unbelievable as it seems, Julia is 9 months old! Julia weighs 22 pounds, 6 ounces and is 28 inches long. It is becoming increasingly difficult to capture her monthly pictures. Here are my attempts...

Fearless and explorer are two great ways to describe Julia right now. She wants to go everywhere and she can get there either army crawling on her belly or full out crawling on hands and knees. She pulls up on everything and loves to stand up and play. The only problem is that she doesn't realize she can't walk, bend over or balance quite yet. So she'll be playing fine holding on to the fireplace hearth and then all of a sudden just let go and turn to get something beside her. We've had several spills and bumped heads, but nothing serious yet. How do you teach a 9 month old to sit on her bottom or put her hands down?!?!
Julia is not "talking" yet - but she grunts and squeals and "ooos" and "ahhs". She has 2 bottom teeth, 3 top teeth and I suspect a fourth is coming in up top because she is not herself today. She's still eating stage 2 baby food and perhaps after the doctor's visit we'll introduce some puffs or cheerios.
She is very laid back still and gives her beautiful smile away to any and everyone.
