Happy 4 Month Birthday, Noah!

I haven't gotten Noah's solo 4 month picture - Julia wanted in on the action.

Noah weighed in at 15 pounds, 12 ounces and 24 inches. He was a trooper this time with his exam and shots. He was a little anxious when the doctor wanted to check his ears - probably because he had his second ear infection this month - boo! He did better taking the medicine this time though.

Noah really wants to sit up. He is always straining forward and must have the strongest baby abs ever. He's not rolling over but he does reach up and grab the toys on the activity mat. He has good head strength now. He enjoys being outside and splashing in his bath tub.

He really responds to smiling faces and rewards us with giant smiles of his own. He is a really sweet baby. Sometimes when I hold him, he scrunches up and grabs my shoulders and it feels like a hug. And, like his big sister, he enjoys sucking his right thumb.

He hasn't committed to sleeping through the night yet. And he does not want to take a bottle. He'll take just enough of the bottle to dull the hunger pains and then he'll give up and wait for mommy. The doctor suggested bottle boot camp, where I go away for an entire day. Um, yes please! I love you Noah, but the doctor says : )
