Happy 14 Month Birthday
Julia is fourteen months old! She's getting to be such a big girl.
She is a great little helper. Like when she creates an "uh-oh" by pouring her milk on the floor, she'll then take the rag and try to wipe it up. All the doors and drawers need to be closed (she must get this from Mommy because Daddy is notorious for leaving things open). She also knows where everything goes and likes it to be back in its proper place. Although she doesn't necessarily put it back when you want her to...
She loves to talk and copy the words and sounds Mommy and Daddy make. She also mimics our actions. For example, Daddy pushed the keys on her little piano with his toes, and the next day I caught her trying to play the piano with her feet!
She is still a great eater, but we've finally found something she doesn't like - eggs. Interesting. Oh, and spinach, but that's more to be expected. She's doing better at drinking more milk. We're trying to figure out her nap schedule - still 2? drop to 1? We kind of go back and forth depending on the day. And lately she's been waking up around 6:30a. Hopefully that will be short lived.
Our little bit is growing like crazy and getting so smart. She can be totally rambunctious, play quietly by herself or sit in your lap and listen to a story. She's so fun to have around and we are blessed every day with her new adventures.
Some of her favorite things: books with flaps, squeaky noises, giving kisses, her thumb, music, her barn and farm animals- Words: uh-oh (and she likes to create reasons to use this new word), teeth, up, dog, woof, baa, bounce, mama (yes - finally!), on, off, eat, beep, duck
- Firsts, since last month: skinned knees (and torn pants), spend the night party at GG and Granddaddy's house on New Years Eve
