Toys I Love to Hate

There are a couple toys that Julia has a love/hate relationship with. For example, the little telephone. It's great when it nicely rolls along behind her. But, as soon as it tips over or the receiver falls off it is not so fun and prompts a crying fit.


Likewise, the push car, that is now a riding car, can be a source of great anguish. She gets frustrated if she can't get on it (keep in mind it rolls!). I've tried to help, but sometimes that seems to make it worse. So I try to let her do it herself...


Since these pictures were taken, we've had a break from the telephone and she is getting better at getting on and off the car. She can even push herself forward with her legs (although some early attempts included her pretty much straddling the car and walking, dragging it along with her!).
